This island is 50 square miles in area and home to little over 100 people. It was initially called Santa Maria de la Concepcion at the time of Columbus' adventures. However, the subsequent name change is a result of wreckage on the island of liquid gold during Prohibition. There are still ruins of cotton plantations from the Loyalists' era and relics reflective of the culture of its first inhabitants, the Indians.
