Day One

This four day vacation for two includes accommodations in an Executive Suite with access to the executive lounge in the luxurious landmark , The British Colonial Nassau Hilton Hotel, only a step away from renowned Bay Street.

Your chauffeur will meet you at the airport with your personal Gourmet Travel Experience itinerary and transfer you to your hotel for rest and relaxation. Champagne and appetizers will be available in your suite.

At 7.00p.m your chauffeur will escort you to your first night’s gourmet experience. This “dinner of a lifetime” designed with your taste in mind is paired with wines selected from over 250,000 bottles stored in the cellar and is hosted at the world famous five star Graycliff Hotel, Restaurant, Spa & Cigar Co.

Built in the 1700s and established as Nassau’s first inn, Graycliff has a rich and colorful heritage—a haven for privateers and princes, stars and statesmen. With its elegant rooms, five-star restaurant, world class cigars and service that anticipates every your need, wish and whim, Graycliff has built a reputation for attracting personalities and celebrities to its world of timeless elegance. Your menu includes:

Your chauffeur will collect you at 11.30am. Your gourmet lunch will be hosted at 12.00 noon at “The Poop Deck at Sandy Port”. Where else but at this magnificent restaurant will you be served lunch on a white sandy beach (weather permitting) while you enjoy the tranquility and crystal clear waters of the Caribbean sea as your chef prepares your sumptuous meal? Your menu includes:

  • SOUP / SALAD

    House salad with Poop Deck vinaigrette
    Cup of conch chowder
    Conch fritter
  • ENTREES

    Native steamed chicken
    Chicken simmered in a tomato sauce with onion,
    sweet peppers and island spices

After lunch your chauffeur will escort you to one of the following tours. The option is yours.

Option 1 CIGAR FACTORY TOUR

Your tour begins with a stroll through the Graycliff’s property, where you will get a glimpse of Graycliff’s exquisite gardens and graceful rooms full of antiques, art and treasures. Entering the cigar factory, you are transported into a world where the tradition of old Cuba lives on. Under the direction of Graycliff’s master torcedore, the legendary Avelino Lara, an orchestra of Cuban craftsmen roll and press tobacco with fluid grace and precision, creating Graycliff’s award winning cigars.

As you watch the artisans at work, you learn about the colorful history and secrets of cigar making and may even be invited to join the master roller at his bench to follow along as he demonstrates his art. At the end of the tour you will be invited to relax in Graycliff’s comfortable smoking lounge with glass windows overlooking the cigar factory. The paneled room is an ideal place to linger over your favorite beverage or perhaps smoke a freshly rolled masterpiece while watching the amazing process of cigars being hand crafted

The Graycliff Cigar Company factory tour is one of the unique delights that you can only experience in The Bahamas. There are very few factories in the world that allow visitors, and none offer the beautiful surroundings, sense of history, elegence of old world atmosphere of Graycliff not to mention the amenities.

Option 2 BACARDI WORLD OF RUM FACTORY TOUR

Journey into the fascinating world of Bacardi in The Bahamas, 61 acres of tropical splendor, and of course begin your experience with a refreshing Bacardi rum cocktail at CASA BACARDI VISITORS CENTER.

You will enjoy:

  • A personal guided tour.
  • Informative video presentation.
  • Free rum sampling while relaxing and socializing.
  • Live rum presentation.
  • Shopping for souvenir items and locally manufactured rum.

On this tour, an experience to be remembered, is the exhibit providing insight into the various rums of the Bacardi world.

A short rum knowledge presentation will enables you to better understand both the great and subtle differences among the portfolio of rums, and guide you in finding ways to enjoy Bacardi products. At the end of the presentation, you will be afforded the opportunity to sample any of Bacardi’s rums straight, on the rocks, or in a new refreshing drink.

Option 3 LARGEST WINE CELLAR IN THE CARIBBEAN TOUR

Your gourmet tour will take you through the world renown Graycliff wine cellar. This award winning cellar carries an inventory of over 250,000 bottles from over 400 vintners in 15 countries, and is a wine connoisseur's dream. The inventory ranges from such wines as an 1865 Chateaux Lafite to, todays most popular vintages. In addition to the considerable wine inventory Graycliff also boasts one of the largest selections of Cognacs, Armagnacs and Ports.

At 7.00 pm your chauffeur will collect you at your hotel and escort you to the restaurant Provence. Situated on the waterfront at olde towne at Sandyport the restaurant Provence offers a relaxed dinner atmosphere. At Provence chef Marc Innocenti brings a touch of Europe to your evening experience as he creates the finest French Mediterranean cuisine for your palate in this part of the world. This unique Bahamian dining experience is an instant flight of fantasy combining memories of Europe with the warmth of the tropics.

Day Three


Pink Sands

You are up early on day three for a trip of a lifetime-- a cruise to picturesque Harbour Island the hideaway of the rich and famous.

Your chauffeur will collect you at 7.a.m and escort you to your high speed ferry which departs Nassau at 8a.m arriving at Harbour Island at 10.15a.m This jewel of The Bahamas--- Victorian styled village of narrow streets and bougainvillea , draped archways and friendly people will be your home for the day. You will be greeted at the dockside where a golf cart will be waiting for you to explore this paradise of the Caribbean

Conde Nast Traveller, Town &Country, and Travel &Leisure magazines all agree on one thing that the fabulous pink sands beach of Harbour Island is amongst the most beautiful in the world

After a cool swim on this famous beach, lunch will be served a la carte at the world famous Pink Sands Hotel. (Drinks are available at your own expense)

There will never be enough time to fully explore this jewel because at 3.15p.m your high speed ferry will depart for Nassau arriving at 6.15p.m. where your chauffeur awaits you and transports you to your hotel.

At 8 p.m.your chauffeur will collect you and escort you to Café Matisse for  your last night’s gourmet dinner of the tour. This picturesque restaurant, centrally located in a century’s old building behind Parliament Street which features matise prints and impressions serves the best French and Bahamian cuisine in the region.

Day Four

Its all over too soon, but all good things must come to an end. Your chauffeur will collect and transfer you to the airport 2 ½ hours before your scheduled departure time.

 




Booking/Payment policy:

A 10% deposit is due by credit card at time of booking. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival date. Should the reservation be made within 30 days of arrival, full payment is due at time of booking. We accept MC,VISA,AMEX and Discover Card.

 

Cancellation policy:

Cancellations of confirmed bookings received up to 14 days prior to arrival are fully refunded except the 10% deposit. Reservations cancelled within 14 days of arrival are penalized 50% of the total package price. No shows, no refund.
